Anton is like the hunky Alpha heroes that this author has a knack for writing but Shannon isn't a simpering female. She's a bold, if skittish, heroine who is absolutely a complete match for Anton. Their bantering is laugh out loud funny, even though it does get campy from time to time. But the sex is scorching hot and I instantly started rooting for the adorable couple to get together.
I do feel the need to warn about the rape scene. The warnings the publisher tagged this book with of a near rape scene is absolutely no exaggeration. Since this is a romance novel, you can be sure Anton comes riding in...
