Not written well and could not connect with the h or H
I got this book free from the Author giving out a coupon code on smashwords and requested an honest review. This is my first review and after the generosity of the author giving it as a freebie I wish I could say I liked it.

*Spoilers in this long review* I just finished Honor Student and.... I just could NOT enjoy it. I read it giving a new author and her story the benefit of the doubt and honestly trying not to compare it to any books this was tagged similar to. Throughout the story I was confused, because various details of the h, her home, college life and the same with the H didn't really make any sense to me. Both characters are hard to like or even empathize with. Right from the beginning, we find out the h, Emma, just turned 21 and has lived with her absent, drunk, and slutty Aunt since Emma moved to Florida from Michigan right before high school graduation.
